- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to study different manifestation of sexism in Spanish language, mainly in writen expression. Students will study in tetx samples different manifestation of this phenomenon and will learn how to avoid it.
- Learning outcomes
- Based on the acquired knowledge, students will be able to recognize potentially sexist elements in Spanish and to avoid them using alternative gender-neutral language means.

- Feminism in linguistics.
- Andocentrism and sexism.
- Language sexism.
- Differences in mens speech and womens speech.
- Some proposals to avoid sexism in language.
