- Course objectives
- This is the last part of the four-semester course of Latvian language, following the courses BA_LV1, BA_LV2 and BA_LV3. In the field of grammar, we work with Latvian and postpositional phrases. New conversational themes are added and communication skills in Latvian are developed.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain the morphology of Latvian participle and postpositional phrases.
- Syllabus
- In the field of grammar, we work with 1) Latvian active participles, 2) compound tenses, 3) passive participles and 4) postpositional phrases. We also read and listen to some authentic Latvian texts.
- In the field of vocabulary we deal with 1) means of transport, 2) cultural events, 3) vocabulary of media.
