Course objectives
The aim is methodological support for doctoral students and control of the progress of work on the dissertation project. Each semester, the doctoral seminar focuses on a different aspect (from current topics of pedagogical sciences, through the organization of scientific work, methodological aspects, data collection, project planning and management, to academic writing). At the end of the semester, each student at an internal doctoral conference. Here, the student presents the current progress in the implementation of his doctoral project and receives valuable feedback from members of the field council and other students present in a friendly and supportive atmosphere of the workplace.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to: • - justify the methodological steps of the dissertation project • - choose appropriate methodological procedures • - work independently on the dissertation text • - work independently on empirical research • - incorporate comments and suggestions from colleagues and members of the branch council.
Syllabus
  • Work on the dissertation project, modification of the dissertation project, project presentation, discussion of the dissertation project, reflections.
Teaching methods
Individual study, collaborative study, reflection, cooperation with the supervisor and colleagues.
Assessment methods
The basic condition is participation in doctoral seminars and an internal doctoral conference.
