Course objectives
The course develops the professional activity of students who work creatively under the guidance of a supervisor on a project assignment in the field of 19th century literature (especially searching for a thesis topic, implementing a specific research project, preparing activities for departmental and faculty events such as Humanities Week, etc.). Individual project assignments may vary from semester to semester, as they are based on the momentary research and didactic needs of the students enrolled and the instructors involved. A key activity will be to deepen students' knowledge of 19th century literature and to strengthen their ability to formulate a hypothesis and objectives for their own scholarly texts on  19th century literature.
