- Course objectives
- The course introduces students to the possibilities of working in various types of editorial activities (publishing, journalism, cultural institutions...) through a combination of theoretical seminars and practical excursions. After completing the course, the student should have a better idea of the current form of editorial operations, which can be used in the search for employment during and after studies.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will:
– theoretically familiarized with selected problematic aspects of editorial and editorial practice through presentations by external guests and reading assigned literature in study support;
– thanks to completed excursions to selected literary, media and cultural institutions, know the specifics of their work;
– to have practical experience with the operation of selected institutions thanks to the practical tasks and the final project;

- Teaching methods
- Seminars combining theoretical introduction to the issue and joint discussions, excursions to selected institutions, use of e-learning support for study materials and supplementary materials, creation of a final reflection diary.
- Assessment methods
- Credit will be awarded for preparation and presentation of the final reflection diary (deadline 26. 5.), fulfillment of an ongoing group task, active work at the seminar including previous preparation, regular attendance (maximum 2 unexcused absences).
