Course objectives
Field project encourages students to self-reflection and self-understanding, developing communication skills, encouraging creativity and teamwork. The main aim of the course is to apply acquired knowledge and skills to libraries, companies and other institutions including KISK. Passing a field project can help draw inspiration and the necessary knowledge for writing a diploma thesis and increase the competitiveness and employability of future graduates in the labor market. Last but not least, students can gain valuable contacts with employers and practitioners.
Learning outcomes
After the course student:
- will be able to apply the acquired experience to practice,
- will practically implement a project in the library, in the company or in other institutions,
- can get contacts with employers and experts.

  • 1) Selection of a field project
  • 2) Consultation of the project with the client/mentor
  • 3) Consultation of the conditions for granting credits
  • 4) Project proposal
  • 5) Project implementation
  • 6) Verify and control the project

Assessment methods
Criteria for assessment are specified by a mentor before the start of the semester. Garant of this class should review those criteria. The realization of a terrain project itself is a mandatory criterion, other terms and conditions may be specified.
