Only students who have completed a summer school of Slavic studies or a similar intensive course abroad enroll in the course.

Course objectives
The aim of the course is a complex development of language competence through participation in a summer school of any Slavic language, literature and culture organized by universities or related educational centers abroad. The student will expand his knowledge about the host country, society and culture. At the same time, he/she will get the opportunity to establish contacts with experts from other countries, which he/she can use when writing his final thesis or during his/her future career.
Learning outcomes
The student improves in the studied or other Slavic language and deepens his knowledge of the visited country and its culture.
Syllabus
  • 1) Active participation in a language course and/or a philological seminar.
  • 2) Lectures by foreign experts and subsequent discussion.
  • 3) Accompanying cultural program.
  • 4) Expertly guided excursions.
Teaching methods
Intensive language course and/or philological seminar, expert lectures, discussions, accompanying cultural program, expertly guided excursions.
Assessment methods
In order to receive credit, it is necessary to present a certificate issued by the organizing institution, which confirms that the student has successfully completed the summer school of the given Slavic language, literature and culture (an intensive language course and/or a philologically focused seminar within its frames) in the scope of at least 20 teaching hours.
