- Course objectives
- This examination is at CAE / C 1 (European Framework) level.
- Learning outcomes
- Learners will be able to: 1. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of vocabulary, e.g. idioms, collocations, fixed phrases, complementation, phrasal verbs, semantic precision. 2. Demonstrate an awareness and control of grammar. 3. Demonstrate an understanding of a long text by, for example, locating specific information, detail, opinion and attitude.
- Syllabus
- The examination is in three parts (approximately 90 minutes altogether): Use of English Reading Comprehension Listening Comprehension It is computer-based, taken in a computer room. There is no oral part.
