- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge of Modern Greek and to develop the vocabulary, communicative and grammar competencies (level A2/B1 CEFR). The main aim of the course is to make students familiar with basic grammatical phenomena of Modern Greek language. Students must be able to describe these and apply these when speaking and writing in Modern Greek. Another aim of the course is to enable students to understand more difficult Modern Greek texts.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to:
- use the vocabulary in spoken and written language;
- explain and apply grammar discussed in seminars;
- understand more difficult texts and translate them into czech and vice versa;
- apply the acquired competencies in the final exam: use grammar rules acquired during the seminar I - IV and speak about issues concerning Modertn Greek history, geography and culture. - Syllabus
