Course objectives
The aim of the course is to gather specialised knowledge that is needed for successful development of a dissertation. For example, a student specialised in logic registers for a course on set theory. The gathered knowledge may also be utilised in doctoral theses.
Learning outcomes
After passing the course, students will be able: to employ gathered knowledge in the dissertation, doctoral theses or other research work.

  • A choice of a suitable specialised course in agreement with the supervisor. Successful completion of that course.

The credit is given by the supervisor after submitting a document certifying successful completion of the course (typically an evaluation in IS).

Students on foreign stay, long-termed ill, ...: contact the teacher for details and agreement, self-study of materials from Interactive syllabi, and filling regular homeworks.
