- Course objectives
- The course introduces various techniques used to apply the fundamental concepts of physical chemistry to real chemical systems. Topics will include quantum theory, chemical statistics, thermodynamics and kinetics. The main objective of the course is to be able to understand and analyse physical-chemical systems in order to calculate their thermodynamic functions and to see how these lead to useful conclusions.
