Course objectives
Basic properties of natural substances. Aminoacids, carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids, proteins, enzymes and coenzymes, their properties and structure, active site. Thermodynamics. Enzyme kinetics, inhibition, allostery. Regulation of enzyme acitivity.
