Course objectives
Students will get basic knowledge of pedagogy in the context of school.
Syllabus
  • 1 Education, its definition, the subject matter, objectives and methods. Breakdown of educational disciplines. Position within the system of Sciences. School education, its content and function. 2 Basic concepts and categories of general education and Education (education, training, education, educational processes). 3rd The basic characteristics of thinking and work of J.A. Comenius. 4 A brief overview of the history of modern pedagogy (J. Lock, J.J.Rousseau, J.H. Pestalozzi, J.F. Herbart, L.N. Tolstoy and others). 5 Educational guidelines 20th Century (pragmatic education, pozitivistická education, culture education, Marxist education, Christian education). Leaders, work. 6 As a student of education. Developmental characteristics, types of intelligence, access to learning and creativity. 7 The teaching profession: specificity, content, competence, accountability, more education. Profesiogram teaching profession. Ethical issues. 8 The role of teachers in the educational process management (operational and planned activities in teaching, educational decision-making, preparation for teaching). The class teacher. 9 Teaching communication and interaction. Principles of communication in the school and its impact on the course of instruction. 10 Climate school class. Working with the climate effects of climate change and its importance in education and learning process. 11 Heredity, environment, education. Family and education. The relationship between home and school. 12 The school as an institution. The function of school. Internal management and administration of schools. Standards for schools. Image schools. 13 The current education system in the Czech Republic (types of schools, the structure, content of ...). The transformation of education. 14 Alternative Education in the Czech Republic (types of schools, their basic characteristics). 15 Curriculum and curricula (their definition, sense way of working with them). 16 Education laws and their importance (the legislative process, Gazette). Other legislative standards. 17 Educational Policy (the definition and functions of national and transnational levels of educational policy, education policy documents and their content).

Assessment methods
1 Passed the test - Test will be verified knowledge of the above-mentioned areas of school education. 2 a) at least 50% of active participation in education Or b) seminar work: the conditions for recognition of work are as follows: consultation with the educational theme, the choice of subject areas skool education, good work under the citation of sources, meaningful connections theoretical and practical part of the work, the extent of 15 standard pages, will be evaluated views , Thoughts and ideas in response to the professional literature.
