- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The exam assesses student´s ability to
understand specialized texts/discourse
identify key ideas
formulate key ideas
transfer information from the text
talk on common topics and those related to their field of study
use argumentation
summarize a simple text related to their field of study
classify, descibe cause and effect, compare, define - Syllabus
- 1.Written part:
- Academic part (academic grammar, matching, logical linking, word formation, definitions...); Text analysis (topic relevant to the student´s field of study) - understanding the text: main idea, logical linking, true or false statements, synonyms... );
