- Course objectives
- An overview of environmental regulations including nature and landscape conservation valid in the Czech Republic is given with focus on the Act 114/1992 Coll. on nature and landscape conservation (in the present amended version). The objectives of the course are 1) to get a broad overview of legal regulations in the Czech Republic (in particular those of the highest level) regarding the protection of nature, landscape and the components of human environment; 2) to orient one-self in these regulations - get an idea of the approach taken, how the topic is structured, where to find specific enactments to partial issues; and 3) to get an idea of how issues of nature conservation and environmental protection are being approached in practice from the legal point of view.

- The course is given as a series of lectures. Credits are given based on the positive result of an oral exam at the end of the course (in case of an increase in the number of enrolled students this might change to a written exam).
