- At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain basic notions and results of differential calculus a and apply them to concrete function analysis.

- Syllabus
- Real numbers. Sequences and elementary functions. Differential calculus of one variable (limit and continuity, derivative, investigation of the graphs of functions, Taylor's formula).

- Standard lecture complemented with an excercise to teach students needed computionals skills.
- Assessment methods
- Completion is firstly based on two tests written during the semester. It is required to obtain at least 50% of points in each test. Exam: written and oral. It is necessary to obtain at least 50% of points from the total amount of the written exam.
