- Course objectives
- Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to analyze the basic principles of scientific communication; to understand the scientific activities; to learn basic methods for writing diploma thesis or scientific paper, for preparing a lecture and poster.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course students should be able to: - apply various methods of writing of diploma thesis; - understand importance of formal requirements in written text; - make presentation and perform it in the session; - create poster.

- Curriculum vitae. Diploma thesis: clearance of themae, structure. Scientific paper: types, structure, technical arrangement of manuscript. Appendices. Opposers reports. Auctors proofs. Review. Popularization of science. Poster. Lecture. Department of Botany: examples of scientific activities.
