- Course objectives
- In this course, students will be introduced into basic statistical terms, they will learn how to estimate basic metrological characteristics of results and how to test statistical hypotheses.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course student will have knowledge in basic statistical terms; will be able to process the experimental data; to estimate basic metrological characteristics of results; to test statistical hypotheses.
- Syllabus
- 1. Basics of statistics. 2. Random variables. 3. Distribution of random variables. 4. Quantiles. 5. Estimation of metrological characteristics of results. 6. Testing of metrological characteristics of results. 7. One-way ANOVA. 8. Two-way ANOVA.

- Teaching methods
- Type of education: It is a lecture followed by a seminar; both forms are combined according to the current needs. Therefore, this semester's classes will be performed partly in the presence and partly in the distant form.
