- Posluchači budou seznámeni s hlavními geofyzikálními metodami studia složení a struktury Země, fyzikálními aspekty geodynamiky a základy reologie litosféry. Zvláštní důraz bude kladen na seismologii.
- Syllabus (in Czech)
- Složení, struktura a vnitřní dynamika Země. Pohyby, tvar a tíhové pole Země, definice a význam tíhových anomálií, interpretace tíhových map. Seismologie - šíření seismických vln, seismometr a seismogram, metody studia struktury Země, zemětřesení, lokalizace ohniska, magnitudo. Zemské teplo - chladnutí Země, radiogenní teplo, šíření tepla, termální modely litosféry. Geomagnetismus - geodynamo a inverze geomagnetického pole, variace geomagnetického pole, interpretace magnetických anomálií, paleomagnetismus, magnetické jevy v atmosféře. Základy reologie litosféry - mechanismy trvalé deformace hornin a reologické profily litosférou.
