Course objectives
The objective of the course is to enable students to get practical experiences during a short-term stay at an institution which employs geographers. The objectives of these institutions are very varied (physical and human geography, as well as cartography) a reflect contemporary broad scope of the discipline. Selection of an institution is made by student and depends on his/her preferences and willingness of the institution to accept students. Students could settle their stay independently in an institution corresponding with their research interest or they could choose from a list provided by Institute of Geography. In each case they should consult their selection with the tutor. The list of institutions is modified on a yearly basis. The specific date and workload of the stay is a matter of settlement between the student and the selected institution.
