- The lecture is acquainting students with polymer structure, methods of structure elucidation and its reflex in physical and useful properties and their elucidation.

- 1. Introduction into the subject Structure and properties of polymers.
- 2. Molecular weights and methods of determination.
- 3. Distribution of molecular weight, polydispersity index,
- 4. Constitution of polymers and copolymers.
- 5. Chain configuration and conformation.
- 6. Polymer solutions, Flory-Huggins solution theory.
- 7. Physical states of polymers: rubber elastic state, glassy state, crystalline state.
