- The goal of the course is to extend knowledge about cave microclimate and about its role in karst processes.

- Introduction - role of cave microclimatology in karst processes Microclimatic variables and conceptual models Aiflow, cave ventilation, ventilation modes, ventilation seasons Temperature/humidity, water condensation, condensation corrosion Carbon dioxide in caves and speleothem growth Cave radioactivity, radon geochemistry Light ions in cave atmosphere, aerosols, speleotherapy Anthropogenic impact, environmental aspects Paleoenvironmental reconstructions
