- Course objectives
- The student will able to discuss issues of leadership and management of geological collections in museums.
- Syllabus
- 1. Management and economics of collecting institutions; Legal aspects of public collections in the CR; 3 DB systems in museums; 4. Maintenance and administration of mineral collections; 5. Leadership and management of paleontological collections; 6. Methodology for photographic documentation of collections; 7. Use of mineral collections for exhibitions, 8. Depository regime (temperature, moisture, radon, radioactive samples, luminescence); 9. Practical demonstration of preparation and preservation of collection items.
