The student will able to discuss issues of use of mining and mineral processing techniques.

  • Seminar program:

  • First day 25.3: Mokrá-Horákov - quarry

  • - Mokrá-Quarry geology

  • - The use of limestone as a raw material in cement and lime kilns and the resulting manufactured products, visit of the crushing and sorting equipment

  • Second day 26.3: Mokrá-Horákov - quarry

  • - Reclamation of the eastern part of the Mokrá-Quarry

  • - Trail

  • - Archeology and speleology in the Mokrá-Quarry

  • Third day 27.3:

  • Morning: Bratčice - sand-pit mining and processing of sand reclamation
