Prerequisites
None, this is a basic course. Basic knowledge in analytical chemistry and work in analytical laboratory are welcome.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is also offered to the students of the fields other than those the course is directly associated with.
fields of study / plans the course is directly associated with
Course objectives
The main aim of this course is to get theoretical and practical skills in issues of environmental quality monitoring. Students practically test basic biological a chemical methods for determination of common parameters in environmental quality assessing, obtain summary about legislative action and selected legislative limits concerning quality of drinking water, agricultural soils, urban air etc. The whole course is practically orientated and students should be able to understand the background of environmental analysis.
