- Course objectives
- The course summarizes the major methods of geological documentation of geological exploration works (wells, pits, tunnels ...), underground structures (tunnels, shafts, galeries, etc.) and basic mine mapping. At the same time it familiarizes with the current legislation and teaches to work with technical standards.
- Learning outcomes
- The student completing the course should handle independently the processing of documentation from exploration work and development of mining maps and cross-sections.
- Syllabus
- Geological documentation methods of drilling, geological exploration wells, horizontal workings, vertical and drop the mines. Photography of the underground.
- Construction of mine maps and cross-sections.
- Geotechnical standards and regulations in the practice of geology for underground constructions - ČSN 731001, ČSN 73 3050, DIN EN ISO 14688, EN ISO 14689, DIN EN 1997, CSN 73 7501, Geological Act (No. 62/1988 Coll.) and follow regulations, mining regulations.
