- Course objectives
- The lecture introduces into problematics of physiological processes in animal groups living in diverse ecological environments. It draws from human physiology resources and provide basics fundamentals of molecular physiology. The main objective of the course is to obtain contemporary knowledge of physiological regulation mechanisms and understand them in broad adaptive and evolutionary context.
- Learning outcomes
- After the successful completion of course, students should be able to: -discuss the problematics of physiological processes in animal groups living in diverse ecological environments; -survey contemporary knowledge of physiological homeostatic and regulation mechanisms in broad adaptive and evolutionary context; -describe details of physiological processes of a mammal; -discuss fundamental molecular principles of cell physiology -describe fundamental tissue histological types in animals -analyse cooperation among diverse homeostatic systems;

- Assessment methods
- The final evaluation is based on written exam. It consists of 12 open questions. Time limit is 90 minutes. At least 50% knowledge is mandatory.
