- At the end of the course students should be able to: understand basic principles in Inorganic chemistry and be able to explain them.

- At the end of the course students should be able to: understand basic principles in Inorganic chemistry and be able to explain them.
- Syllabus
- 1. Periodic table, s-, p-, d- a f- elements, symbols, engaging to group and period, simple nomenclature.
- 2. Electron configuration of all elements, except f-block, electron structural equations, oxidation degrees, nomenclature.
- 3. Equations, VSEPR.
- 4.-14. Single group of elements.

- Teaching methods
- Training in the form of discussion between teacher and the students, which is connected with elucidation of generally valid patterns and context in the discussed topics.
- Assessment methods
- 100 % participation in exercises, 50 % points from tests. Seminar ends with credit.
