- Course objectives
- Within the framework of regional geography, the students will acquire basic knowledge regarding the concepts of region, regional hierarchy and regional taxonomy. The related topics involve the history, development and current state of regional geography and its theoretical and methodological basis.
- Learning outcomes
- Student completing the course will know:
- history of regional geography;
- definition and classification of regions;
- issues of regional hierarchy and taxonomy (including basic methods and approaches). - Syllabus
