entrance examination (those who have 12 admitted without taking the entrance examination in their admission decision). The column

2.5 Comparison of admission success with studies success rate
The application register is used for searching data that may represent the point evaluation of the entrance examination. The table
includes those studies which have both an existing point evaluation of the entrance examination and a listed grade average. The number
of studies is listed in the column ”Studies”, while the column ”Year” is the year of admission to studies. The point evaluation and grade
average are converted to the ranking in the examined group of studies. The ranking is calculated separately for each year. The column
”Avg. difference” is the average difference between the rank of the studies in the entrance examination point evaluation and the rank of
the studies in the grade average. A positive difference means a better ranking of grade average and worse ranking in the point evaluation
of the entrance examination. The columns ”Difference distribution” contain the frequencies of the differences on the entire axis. The left
part of the axis shows better ranking at the entrance examination, while the right part shows better ranking in the studies. The column
”Spear. coeff.” shows the value of Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient. The name of the data used for obtaining points from the
admission is stated before the table.

otherwise ended studies from November 1 of the given year to October 31 of the following year. Terminated studies are those studies
ended with one of the 67 studies terminated for failure to fulfill study requirements, 81 dropped studies by failing to enrol during these, 82
termination of studies by sending a written notice, 84 dropped studies by not enrolling after interruption statuses.

of those studies that were not enrolled in the third semester. The column ”Graduated within the std. length” includes studies that have
successfully completed their studies in the standard time of studies increased by three months. The column ”Graduates” contains all
successfully completed studies.

4.2 Failed courses during termination of studies
The following table contains a list of courses that students failed in the same semester their studies were terminated. The stated semester
is the semester of both failing the course and terminating the studies. If a student terminated their studies between May and October, the
completion type will be counted for the spring/summer semester. If a student terminated their studies between November and April, the
completion type will be counted for the autumn/winter semester. The courses are sorted according to the number of failed completions in
the given semester.

4.3 Reasons for terminating studies in terms
The table displays the number of ended studies sorted according to the completion type and semesters. The left column shows in which
semester of their studies students enrolled in. The horizontal list shows in which semester the studies were ended (or if it is still ongoing
in the current semester). The order of the semester is calculated according to the actual length of the studies (the period of interrupted
studies does not count toward this length), and is understood as the rounded share of the days of the studies divided by 180 days.
Therefore, the zero semester is the period at the very beginning of the studies.

4.4 Studies at universities in the Czech Republic after terminating studies
The tables contain the faculties and degree programmes that were or are being studied by unsuccessful students of the selected plans.
The information on subsequent studies after graduation available to the university are only those in its own information system. As
a result, information on subsequent studies at other universities are usually available only if the student concurrently studies at MU as
well as the other university. Only full other studies are included (and therefore not the second plans of major/minor studies). This includes
only those studies which were started no sooner than the day the studies of the selected plan at MU had been terminated. The year is
academic year of admission to studies of the selected study plans at MU.
