Evaluate the past year of the degree programme implementation (e.g. admissions, academic failure, final state examinations, internationalization). If the degree programme includes a distance or combined study plan, also focus on evaluating these plans. Please specifically address the results of the student quality assessment (subject survey and other instruments), what measures have been taken, and with what results. In the Autumn 2023 semester, the Regional Development and Tourism programme was started, the first students were enrolled on their studies, and new programme courses were taught for the first time. The start of the programme can be considered successful, and no complications have occurred. Only the programme courses relating to the first year of study were taught. Teaching of other new courses will start in the following year. Four students started their studies in the Academic Year 2023/2024 (three in the Autumn 2023 semester and one in the Spring 2024 semester). One student's study was terminated for not meeting the requirements. The study of one student is currently interrupted. According to the newest information, a slightly increasing trend in the number of enrolled students can be expected in the next academic year. However, we can realistically evaluate this fact next year. Due to the recent start of the programme, no state final exams have been implemented yet. Two thesis topics were assigned. The degree programme does not include a distance or combined study plan. The guarantor of the programme carefully studied the student survey regarding the Autumn 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters. No significant comments or recommendations emerged from this survey. The quality of teaching is considered sufficient. However, the start of new teaching has brought valuable experience for the teachers, and based on it, they must strive to improve the quality of their lectures and seminars further. 2. Describe the significant and non-significant changes in the degree programme during the last evaluation period (typically since the previous Programme Board meeting). Compared to the accreditation materials, there was only one non-significant change: the transfer of the course MPV_ACAD Academic Writing (guarantor Mgr. Martin Guzi, Ph.D.) from the first to the second semester. This change relates to all English master's programmes at the FEA MU. 3. Describe the extent to which the objectives have been achieved, evaluate the development plan you have drawn up during the last evaluation and formulate the goals for the next period. The defined objectives were achieved. In September 2023, the teaching of the study programme began, and all planned courses were implemented into practice. Foreign post-doc academician Kayode Kolawole Eluwole, PhD., who started working at the Department of Regional Economics in 2023, was involved in teaching programme courses. Foreign teachers who came to the Czech Republic for a short stay were also involved in the teaching. They participated, for example, in teaching the courses International Tourism and Tourism Destination and Regional Management. An ongoing effort is to raise awareness of the new study programme, primarily through the Office for International Relations, which promotes our study programmes abroad. In the summer of 2024, the faculty's website updated information about the programme. 3/3 Programme Board Meeting Minutes The following objectives are set for the next period: Objective of the degree programme development (what) Measures leading to the objective (how) Implementation of the measures, year or course (when) To start teaching the remaining new courses planned in the accreditation Preparation and conducting of lectures and seminars Academic year 2024/2025 To prepare the implementation of state final exams for the first graduates Ensure all processes for the proper running of the state final exam Depending on student readiness – June 2025 Raise awareness of the newly prepared programme.
