I am pleased to invite you to an International Scientific Ph.D. and Post Docs Conference organized by the Faculty of Business and Management of Brno University of Technology. Taking place at the university campus on May 25th 2011 and entitled "Research in Business and Management", the conference is held under the auspices of ass. prof. Ing. Mária Režňáková, CSc, vice - dean of the Faculty of Business and Management.
The conference primary objective is for the participants to present their PhD theses and achievements in the post docs research projects. Any contributions dealing with research in management, economics, marketing, accounting, statistics, econometrics, operational research, and informatics are welcome. In addition to presenting their contributions, the attendants may also discuss the current and future dissertation topics in social sciences as well as debate the PhD programmes in general and to improve mutual communication and intercultural competencies.
The language of communication being English the conference will take the form of plenary sessions as well as sessions dedicated to specific subjects.
All the papers presented will be reviewed and published in conference proceedings. The best papers will be published in the "Trends - Economics and Management" journal.
