NSF highly values international collaboration and in some cases enables the participation of non-US institutions in NSF funded research project. Join us to discuss the organization and operation of NSF, explore how you might cooperate with the NSF and how to become a part of research activities supported by the NSF. Speaker: Dr. Maria Zemankova acts as an Program Director in the Intelligent Information Systems Division at the National Science Foundation. In 1992, she was the first recipient of the Special Interest Group on Management of Data (SIGMOD) Contributions Award for her work in the conception of research initiatives on scientific databases and digital libraries. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science in 1983 from Florida State University for her work on Fuzzy Relational Database Systems. For registration click here.
