Accommodation scholarship - financial support for students
Dear students,
I have very good news for you. All degree students, as well as all Erasmus students at MU,
have the right to apply for an ACCOMMODATION SCHOLARSHIP from our
government once in every semester. Please note this does applies only to degree and Erasmus
students, not for students of other international exchange programmes.
DEADLINES:
The APPLICATION ROUND begins on 1st
NOVEMBER and lasts until 30th
NOVEMBER for the autumn semester, for the spring semester it begins on 1st
April till 30th
April. The application deadline may change each year, so check it in the IS.
No applications are ever accepted by the economical department after the dates, and there are
no exceptions, so please make sure you do it asap, if you want to receive the money.
HOW TO APPLY:
1. go to "SCHOLARSHIP" - in the left menu of the IS
2. Click on "Enter the number of the account, where you want the money to be sent to”. It has
to be a Czech account, but it does not need to be your own account. It can be an account of
your friend, another student, or your tutor. It is not a problem, when more students use the
same account.
3. There are four lines to be filled in Prefix, Account number, Bank code, IS password (the
primary password). Please note that not all account numbers have the prefix. If there is no
prefix in your account number, leave the field blank.
4. Click on "Save”
5. Click on “Application for financial support for accommodation”
6. CLICK ON “Submit the application for accommodation support”
MAKE SURE you click on the last SUBMIT button and that afterwards it says (in green)
“Application submitted”.
Without that last click, the application will not be submitted, and a red sentence "Was not
submitted" appears.
I recommend to make a PRINT SCREEN of the last page that says “Application submitted”
for possible later claims.
HOW MUCH:
The exact amount is not known (it is usually 2500 - 3000 CZK), it depends on the final
number of applicants.
