I am writing this letter to express my interest, enthusiasm, and motivation to participate in
the Erasmus+ program in Europe.
I am the second semester of the master's student at Masaryk University in the major of
Business Management. As can be seen from global statistics, Management has become a famous
field. People are always searching for solutions to contribute to a sustainable improvement of the
world's contemporary industry areas. Management is such an area that I am sure that all global
platforms will need someone who knows this field in depth. Therefore, I will not draw a specific
company because this area is necessary for all institutions. As a junior manager, while I saw that
my hand works were sound from an early age, I started my own business and engaged in online
sales to sell my products. Therefore, I decided to have my master's degree in Business Management
at Masaryk University, which is a great choice.
With this letter, I want to convey my strong desire to study at the University of Porto in
Portugal as an Erasmus student. Studying in Portugal, especially at the University of Porto, which
is in the top 295 ranked universities globally, would be an excellent opportunity to gain experience
in international negotiations agreements and establish future business relations. Portugal is one of
my dream countries which I am willing to learn more about their culture and tradition with living
there. I see this program as a perfect chance to improve my English, negotiation skills, and
experience in another education system. Since my managerial skills have always been good, I want
to develop them more professionally at the University of Porto. I will be a strong leader by gaining
knowledge from their professors.
Furthermore, I have well-developed leadership skills because I often lead my group during
team projects. I was also active in extracurricular activities; thus, I am applying for the University
of Porto, as I believe that studying at this university will enhance my outlook and help me
transform my creativity into fruitful actions. In my opinion, my educational background and
experience make me a strong candidate to get a chance to study at the University of Porto. Since
the first day of my education, I have gained essential skills like cooperation, teamwork, leadership,
rational decision-making, critical thinking, etc. I know it can be a massive challenge for me;
however, I believe that only the complex challenges improve the person and shape them better.
Through my knowledge and skills, I fulfill your requirements to get a chance to study at the
University of Porto. Therefore, I am very interested in crossing borders and spending time abroad
for a while. I like traveling. Travel is a way to get to know new cultures, learn something new and
enrich your personality. Furthermore, I can communicate with plenty of people with the help of
skills that I gained through my past experiences.
During my training at Masaryk University, I developed good presentation, leadership, and
managerial skills. Apart from educational benefits, I will get to know Erasmus students from
different countries and exchange experience and practice. I have participated in several lectures
related to management at Masaryk University. For improving my public speaking and language
skills, I have been involved in different language exchange meetings in which I practiced my
language skills with foreigners from other parts of the world. Moreover, spending time with
international students would broaden my horizons.
When I started to search to get brief information about the education in Portugal, I saw that
there must be universities to choose as my favorite option for obtaining an Erasmus program in
Portugal. My second choice is the Minho University which offers a Business Management course.
The best thing about the structure of studies in this university is that the modules during the
semester have diversified into specializations and tracks because this kind of division can assist
students in selecting focus the appropriate and desired section. Additionally, having a research
track will be an effective way to obtain qualitative and quantitative research and learning methods
in interdisciplinary courses. As the next instant decision, I have chosen the program in Business
Management in the Global environment at the Catholic University of Valencia in Spain. I have
interest to study here due to its core modules which were designed to help students on the way of
assimilating advanced management strategies, because in my opinion, after studying this
university, I will have the perfect administrative knowledge enough to work be aware of the
statuses and strategy of companies that are in use, considering the combination with my excellent
leadership skills. The reason behind the fact why I make them my favorite universities is that I
appreciate the extracurricular accomplishments of students in the university, which allows the
graduates to find a job in global and local companies.
