Project support during the Rector's exceptional measures
Despite the current emergency situation, all project support in the standard scope will continue to be
provided. Relevant project managers and project economists are available for all projects during
standard working hours. Please, use primarily e-mail or telephone communication to get into touch
with the project manager or project economist.
The Office for Strategy and Project Management is also currently working with other departments of
Masaryk University to address potential problems that arise or have already arisen in projects due to
coronavirus. It is not only OP VVV projects, but also other schemes such as GAČR, TAČR projects,
etc. The providers are addressed with both possible non-fulfillment of some indicators, as well as the
cancellation of project actions and other activities and the associated wasted funds. In these cases
force majeure is negotiated. The respective project managers will inform about the situation on
individual projects and further steps will be taken.
In case it is necessary to provide signatures for the project (at any stage of its implementation) by the
faculty or university management, this situation has already been solved in the form of temporary
replacement of dispatch notes or other documents, in the form of approval of the relevant material, by
means of e-mail approval, which will be provided by the respective project manager / administrator of
the project and subsequently ensure the signature on the relevant document. Please note that it will
not be possible to secure signatures by statutory representatives at faculty or university level on a
daily basis, ie please communicate your interest to submit a project with us in advance,
