IBM Delivery Centre CE team in Brno makes it possible for you to take part in interesting projects within
The Internship Program. This program is available from February 2014 – June 2014.
IBM Delivery Centre CE Brno is one of the biggest and most diverse IBM centers of its kind worldwide.
Brno centre core activities focus on providing strategic outsourcing services, remote server and application
support, networking services and end customer support.
Site Improvement Project Support
You will be responsible for leading an internal site project aimed on increasing the efficiency of current premises.
The goal of this project is to increase the capacity/quality of production space in DCCE Brno site (approx. 3500
people/2800 working seats).
Description of roles:
 Inspect all production and non-production areas (meeting rooms, open spaces, storages, garages) and
address problems with equipment or misuse to competent focal points
 Identify root cause of defects (repeating problems)
 Propose and implement a solution to fix the defects
 Utilize brigade worker for manual works
 Coordinate, support, track and report progress.
 Introduce consistent measurements of quality
Skills required:
 Communicative English
 MS Excel / OpenOffice calc
 Communication skills
 Project management skills
 Time management
