1 Measures of the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University No. 12/2024 On the transfer of students of master's and bachelor's degree programmes (as amended with effect from 18 October 2024) Pursuant to Section 28(1) of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions and on Amendments and Supplements to Other Acts (the Higher Education Act), as amended (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"), and Article 5 of Masaryk University Measure No: Article 1 1. The rules for the transfer of students set out in this Measure shall apply to students enrolled in the following study programmes (hereinafter referred to as the terminating study programmes): Master's degree programme in Law and Legal Studies, majoring in Law, Master's degree programme Public Administration, major Public Administration, Bachelor's Degree Programme Legal Specialization, Higher Judicial Officer, International Law Business Studies, Business Law Studies, Bachelor's degree programme Public Administration, Theory and Practice of Criminal and Administrative Procedure, Public Administration. 2. The right to pursue the above study programmes expires on 31 December 2024. Article 2 1. Students of the Master's degree programme in Law and Legal Science, majoring in Law, will be transferred to the Master's degree programme in Law and Legal Science. 2. Students studying the follow-up Master's degree programme Public Administration, majoring in Public Administration, will be transferred to the follow-up Master's degree programme Public Administration. 3. Students of the Bachelor's degree programme in Legal Specialisation, Higher Judicial Officer, will be transferred to the Bachelor's degree programme in Higher Judicial Officer. 4. Students studying the Bachelor of Laws, specialization in International Business Studies will be transferred to the Bachelor of International Business Studies. 5. Students studying the Bachelor of Legal Specialization, Business Law Studies programme will be transferred to the Bachelor of International Business Law Studies programme. 6. Students enrolled in the Bachelor's degree programme in Public Administration will be transferred to the Bachelor's degree programme in Public Administration. 2 7. Students of the Bachelor's degree programme Public Administration, Theory and Practice of Criminal and Administrative Procedure will be transferred to the Bachelor's degree programme Theory and Practice of Criminal and Administrative Procedure. Article 3 1. Students are informed of their transfer to the successor master's and bachelor's degree programmes specified in Article 2 (hereinafter referred to as "successor degree programmes") by notification delivered via the MUNI IS. 2. Transfers to successor study programmes will take place between 18 November and 29 November 2024. 3. The transfer does not affect the calculation of the total study time. For the purposes of determining tuition fees and awarding scholarships, study in the terminating programme is not considered unsuccessful. 4. The transfer also applies to persons whose studies are interrupted in accordance with Section 54 of the Act. Pursuant to Article 8 of Masaryk University Measure No. 2/2019, the transfer does not apply to students who are parties to proceedings for termination of studies; in the event that such proceedings are terminated without the termination of studies, the transfer takes place immediately after the termination of the proceedings. Article 4 1. Study obligations that have been fulfilled in the terminating study programme up to the time of the transfer and that are identical in content to the study obligations in the successor study programme are considered fulfilled in the successor study programme. 2. Courses of study that were enrolled in the terminating study programme and were not successfully completed will be completed according to the rules of the successor study programme. 3. Those components of the final state examination which the student has successfully completed in the terminating study programme are also considered to have been fulfilled, provided that the content of the final state examination in the successor study programme does not differ significantly. 4. In cases where the curriculum of the successor study programme differs significantly from the curriculum of the terminating study programme, the conditions for completing the degree in the successor study programme will be individually adjusted as part of the transfer. 5. The student registers for courses for the semester following the semester in which the transfer took place after the transfer has taken place. Article 5 1. I am delegating the implementation of this measure to the Quality Coordinator. 2. I hereby delegate the interpretation of the individual provisions of this measure and the control of compliance with this measure to the Vice-Dean for Master's Studies and the Vice-Dean for Bachelor's and Continuing Master's Studies. 3.
