Additions:
President
 Bank account success at GE Money bank, treasurer and President have the
bank cards and signing rights, VP also had signing rights on the account.
 There is a foreigners presentation that we have been asked to present MIMSA
at.
 There has been an issue raised with some students that all of our events
generally have Alcohol, this leads to some students for religious reasons not
being able to come to MIMSA events. We will not be holding events specifically
for these people but, it would be recommended that some events do not have
alcohol so that these people may attend too.
 Elections to happen on the 6th
of December 2010 for President and Vice
President. Applications are due 8 days before the elections themselves.
 Board members are required to submit hand over reports by the 5th
of
December and post them on the I.S system in the mimsa file.
 Another meeting with the lawyers happened, things are happening slowly but,
surely.
Education
 4th
years are having problems with lessons not happening on time and
teachers being unaware that the lessons are going to be happening.
We advise the students to inform us of such situations and approach
the head of the dept. directly with these problems rather than Helena
as, she is merely an intermediary.
Treasurer
 Money from our events is going to be reinvested in MIMSA, for instance
we can buy a white board for events, a flag, stamps and supplies for
educational events.
 For the futsal tournament, there will be no acceptance of teams from
outside the office- money taken must be signed in, via the appropriate
form.
 Bouncers at 7.nebe were paid 1200kc by Rosh and Adriano, these
funds will be refunded by mimsa if 7.nebe refuse to pay them.
IT
 MIMSA pictures should be uploaded to the website
 MIMSA history needs to be updated to reflect the true nature of MIMSA’s
beginning
 An e-poll had been set up on the IS by Roye to test the system out. Please
look at it and think of suggestions.
