Public Relations We would like to know how you would like us to introduce ourselves to the students; whether there is anything that we should know regarding what they expect and want from us from your experience in PR last year? From your past experiences in PR what are the biggest difficulties you faced. Where does MIMSA lie with funding and sponsors- are we looking for more and are we doing any fund raising events? What is our situation with the IFMSA in terms of school exchanges and summer practices abroad Do we have a sort of "black box" with study material mostly for the students to borrow like in the library? Social cellular companies project shops and interest-points project Quiz night (already discussed) Linking the MIMSA website in with facebook so that you can comment on things on the website from your profile (ionline) MIMSA cup, expansion- discussion on the first mimsa introductory event (possibly cocktail party similar to that at onyx cafe) organisation for a mimsa seminar for mimsa members to get opinions/feedback on what they want from the social department discussion on the creation of a social team (consisting of 5-7 mimsa members) discussion on previous costs and future costs of social events clarification of the pub quiz event (Shan and Bhavin are preparing to present this idea on wed) additional ideas/opinions for future social events I spoke with Adriano at great length about the MIMSA cup- he is adamant that the MIMSA cup should be a whole day event- we need to find out the price of having the field for an entire day and if we can have a barbecue there and some music. He also wanted to know the opinion of the board on holding a "champions party" in the evening when the trophy will be presented to the winners. The format will be with at least 10 teams with Champions league format. He also was keen for the board to be present as a "team" and to compete in the competition with shirts, names and numbers as a form of introduction to the board- (chess board team name)! The proposed date is 17th of April. Entrance fee for a player with lunch included will be 120 Kc and 60Kc just for the lunch (for the public), for nonmembers it will be another 50Kc on top of the original price. Education Infrastructure of the educational part of MIMSA Website Selection process of Educational Committee - we have a new vision, and want the opinion of the board. Students raised complaints regarding insufficient time on anatomy credit tests. Video filming of lectures and uploading them to a video server (exist in most faculties of the university, according to Taborska) Towards the beginning of new year asking from Helena list of the new students and sending them e-mails regarding orientation meeting and MIMSA in general. (Let them know about us before they are coming to Brno, and they should know they will have a "soft" landing. Treasurer Budget Requirements from the different departments (hopefully all have some contributions) Basic plan and outline on how MIMSA should be run Difficulties that are expected IT 1) MIMSA WEB site review: Asking all MIMSA board members to surf the site and provide general (additional pages or features, design suggestions ex.) and Dpt. Related feedbacks with respect to content. 2) What was Helena's answer regarding? New MIMSA PC Opening file section in the IS (for example like a course) for access to MIMSA Boards' files (that can be used by only MIMSA board for both Backup and fluent work) Allocating MIMSA E-mail account address; mimsa@med.muni.cz and possibility to enable number of users (MIMSA board) receiving and sending mail.
