“I promise that I shall duly fulfil my duties of a student of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk
University. I shall apply all my efforts to achieve a high level of professional knowledge and
skills, so that I may effectively assist in further developing scientific knowledge for the benefit
of mankind.




In becoming a student of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University, I honestly promise that I
shall, through all my actions and manners, strive to maintain the good name of this University, and
that I shall not do anything that might harm its generally recognised reputation.”
