Course of training: Students work under the supervision of a dentist. Students are obliged to
observe the principles of work safety and use the prescribed protective aids. The students
continuously keep the list of the interventions performed during practice. The records are
confirmed by the supervisor.



Content of practice

Students work under the supervision of a dentist, the individual treatment phases are consulted in
advance.


 1. Complex examination of a patient, follow-up.
 2. Dental caries treatment using plastic fillings.
 3. Diagnostic and therapy of dental caries consequences.
 4. Pulpitis, periodontitis, endodontic treatment.
 5. Examination and prophylactic methods used in Paediatric Dentistry.
 6. Periodontal examination of a patient, indexes, prevention.
 7. Conservative therapy in periodontology.
 8. Pre-prosthetic examination, plan of the prosthetic treatment.
 9. Preparation of teeth for fixed dentures.
10. Fabrication of removable dentures.
11. Local anaesthesia and simple extractions.
12. Diagnostics in oral surgery.
13. Diagnostics of orthodontic anomalies.
14. X-ray examination.
