What is the H R Award?
The HR Award is a European Commission certification. It defines the personnel policy principles of research institutions so that the work environment of the employees is professional, open, transparent and ethical.
Institutions that endorse these principles and prove their implementation receive the HR AWARD certification and the HR EXCELLENCE IN RESEARCH logo.
How are we going to gain and keep the HR Award?
We have prepared well - we have a project team, a working group and a steering committee, we cooperate with other faculties of MU, which are also seeking the HR Award, we received funding from the OPVVV program.
We have already taken the first step - the Faculty of Arts of MU endorsed the principles of the HR Award in a letter from the Dean, accepted by the European Commission on December 2nd 2019.
Within one year from this date, we will work on a gap analysis of the
current situation in the affected areas of personnel policy and on
a subsequent action plan of improvements within the individual principles.
Both documents - gap analysis and action plan - will be submitted to the European Commission. If they are accepted, we will receive certification and the HR EXCELLENCE IN RESEARCH logo.
In the following periods, we will cyclically implement the suggestions from the Action Plan, assess the current status and propose revisions of the Action Plan for the following period.
