Economic Aspects of the Transition Process – the final exam

 

 

The final exam consists of three parts.

 

1. multiple choice test 1-4 correct answers. The questions cover all of the topics.

example:

The monetary crisis in the CR in 1997:

a. led to a change in monetary policy

b. was a result of controlled-floating exchange rate

c. accelerated the EU accession

d. led to economic recession in the following 2 years

maximum is 40 points

 

2. essay from the “economic” part of the course

3. essay from the “public finance” – the second half of the course

for each of these parts:

* select only one of the three mentioned topics

* essay means to write everything that you know about the topic

* always fully keep the topic

* it is recommended to explicitly formulate the goal of the essay!

* it is recommended to underline, make headlines and structure the text

* cover roughly 2 pages

* the essays are marked by the lecturer of the relevant topic

* maximum is 30 points for each of the essays

 

 

the whole exam:

* total time is 2 hours

* the student needs to gain more than 60 points to pass

* dictionaries are possible to use – they are scrutinized by the teacher!

* all steps will be taken to prevent any way of cheating – a student will be ordered to leave the exam room on any sign of cheating and he or she will be graded as failed
