In an intercultural classroom setting various cultural groups bring into class different
communication and learning styles, ways of problem-solving and task engagement. The first source
goes to an American classroom to show examples of such cultural differences. When differences in
cultural values, communication and learning styles are not recognized, they lead to critical
incidents and create communication barriers. The source 2 through 4 are critical incidents that you
