To pass the class

Attendance/Class/Group Participation: [50% of final grade] Students must come to class prepared, having done the readings and ready to address the course material, answer questions, and engage their classmates and the instructors in a thoughtful and respectful manner. Class attendance and participation in class and with your group discussions are crucial to the success of our semester and are therefore expected. 

Students are responsible for any class material they miss due to absences; it is up to the student to obtain the materials. This portion of your grade will be a formulation of anonymous assessments from your group partners along with instructor review.

Final Exam: [50% of final grade].
