It is said that a picture or an image is worth a thousand words. This just confirms the importance of words, because depending on each communication situation it is always essential to choose the most appropriate and adequate expressions.
The same idea can be expressed in two or three sentences, which can be more convincing, than two pages of an incoherent text.

Prepare a short self-presentation, of three or four sentences,
focusing on: 

1) Your university studies. 

2) Your academic interests.
