2) do the printed exercise you received 24 Feb (in my course)

3) see "Grammar" file in my study materials and do the exercise "REVIEW-COMPARING, key". This is meant to be a self-study exercise, the answer key is available. If sny misunderstanding occurs, prepare your questions and raise these on 26 Feb

4) study the vocab from CB page 69 /the text/, (a mock test pending!)

5) Group 8 students: check your answers for the printed exercises on Brands (TASK 1) of 24 Feb below:

1.        brand name: the noun given to a product by the company that produces it
2.        branding: the activity of giving a particular name and image to goods and services so that people will be attracted to them and want to buy them
3.        brand loyalty: the tendency of customers to continue buying the same brand
4.        brand image: what people think or feel about a particular product, company name or symbol
5.        brand awareness:to what extent people know about and recognize a particular product
6.        brand-conscious: aware of the most fashionable or famous products and wanting to buy them
7.        brand management: the way that a company controls how a particular type of product or group of products (a brand) is advertised and sold to customers
 
2. Fill in the gaps using the brand-related terms from exercise 1:
Teenagers are highly brand-conscious.
They’ve run branding campaigns on buses and billboards.
Our brand management is based on clearly expressing the benefits of each product to customers.
The company sold all eight of its stores but kept the ‘Express’ brand name.
