SEMINAR WORK

                                              SEMINAR WORK – PRESENTATION

Your seminar work for this term consists in giving a presentation of a product or a company of your choice.
You will give the presentation in the seminar lessons of 4 and 8 April (group 23) and 5 and 12 April (groups1,12, 4).

  • Prepare a seriously minded 5-7 minute power point presentation dealing with a product or a company that you know/are familiar with/work with/for or are interested in. Avoid presenting large multinational companies such as Coca Cola, Pilsen Urquel, IKEA etc. Preferred are presentations of small and middle-sized companies.

  • The presentation must include all particulars of a business presentation, i.e., it must have a strong introduction with explanation of the reason for which you have chosen the particular topic, the main body and the conclusion + questions and answers section.

  • The presentation cannot be read, but you can use your visual material to help you remember important dates and numbers.

  • Be ready to answer questions of your colleagues at the end of the presentation. Invite the questions at the end yourself.

  • A laptop and a data projector will be installed in the classroom before the beginning of the lesson so that they are at your disposal. All you need to bring is a flash disc with the PPP presentation and handouts for your colleagues, if necessary, or any other visual material you might find useful.

  • Students will be asked to evaluate the presentation of their colleagues afterwards. To be able to do that and to know what to evaluate, read the evaluation sheet document below carefully. You will find it useful when preparing your own presentation, as it might help you put emphasis on important issues.

  • To help you prepare for your presentation, read the files dealing with ways of giving a successful presentation and, if possible, take them to heart.
