Dear students!

In English II/2, we will cover Units 6 to 15 from Graham Tullis & Tonya Trappe's New Insights into Business. You need to have the Student's book in the lessons. There is also a Workbook available, but it's completely up to you if you want to buy it or not - it is good for practice, but not compulsory. A very useful material is Slovníček k učebnici New Insights into Business by Radek Vogel & Lucie Fialová.

To finish English II/2 successfully and get the credits, you will have to:

• be present in the lessons 80% of the time, which means that you can miss 4 lessons without official apology (e.g. a note from a doctor you bring to the study department),
• submit seminar work (details can be found in the "Seminar Work" section),
• be active in the lessons and do homework assignments,
• get at least 60 points in the exam test.
